life line by line

hmm… pretty simple episode that can be broken down as such:
- Cagalli sends letter to Kira, saying this and that… marriage… give back Athrun’s ring

- Kira and crew leave ORB via Archangel (WTF did they hide this thing?!?!) since the Lacus attackings could happen again. Plus they need to get their nosy selves involve in the war else another First Coordination War could happen. Quick pitstop to save Cagalli from marriage first though…

- Cagalli and Yuna’s marriage is totally political and Yuna is basically an total jerk. Cagalli has many many flashbacks involving the war, her father, and Athrun while on the way to the marriage point. Cagalli, by the eway, as an awesome wedding dress that is ruined by the HORRIBLE makeup job.

- ORB “tries” to stop Freedom but that’s a joke in itself. Kira does the whole save the little sis bit, surprising everyone at the wedding. ORB naval fleet does not stop Freedom or the Archangel as they have smart minded NORMAL thinking folks running their ships unlike everyone else in ORB. Episode ends with them bidding Archangel an farewell blah blah.

- Random missed comment: Murrue still the captain of the ship even though Andrew is really the highest ranking officer on board (only makes sense). Plus he has an mobile armor / mobile suit to help even the reinforcements (note: looks like Archangel only has Freedom, Strike Rouge, and Andew’s mech).

Not a bad episode overall but I could have done without half it being flashbacks. Some cheesy moments when Kira goes to save Cagalli (the doves.. just why) but kind of cool nonetheless. What I really enjoyed the most though, was the new opening as it shows some of the new gundams that’ll come about. The biggests being the Shinn Freedom rip-off, Andrew’s mech, Random Orange Mech, and Shadow Gundam That’s Probably An Providence Rip. Beside the new gundams, the OP and ED songs were okay but I’ve gotten so used to TM Revolution and Nami Tamaki doing them it’s odd not hearing either one of them (though it is a nice change).

Next episode looks decent, as we focus back on Athrun and his meeting up with the crew of Minerva. Also looks like we’ll get to see some Savior Gundam Action!
