Magical Canan 06
Continuing with the sub-par quality that is Magical Canan, episode six slowly dives into what I can guess as the main storyline as hints of the Evil Boss and Chihaya’s past surfaces. Since nothing plot-wise really happens, once again I’ll just point out the scenes I thought worth mentioning. For an in-depth synposis of Magical Canan, check over at Satoshi. Odds are since it’s only Satoshi and myself blogging Magical Canan as far as I know it, I’ll be (fortunately) leaving the detail reviews to him while I stick to quick commentaries.
I can breakdown my highlights into two categories:
Plot movement:
- stalker guy / Chihaya’s father is now her new teacher.
- there might be an Evil Main Boss afterall; Villian Lady was only Henchman #1
- Something about the crystals, I don’t remember what though. Only that I think the badguys have found an way to make clones of them… or something?
- Chihaya’s powers are tied in with Natsuki. If he’s out for the count, she goes back to chibi mode.
- Villian Lady is into S&M. Lucky Natsuki 
- Chihaya’s father / stalker / mysterious saviour is definitely known to the villians as it seems he has some connections with them. Then again, I think it was him who originally stole the crystals way back in the first episode so…
Funny moments:
- robot going into the girls’ changing room. Awesome.
- SD moments.
- Hot Nurse Lady.
- Robot Club (brings back “fond” memories of my HS days).
Magical Canan continues to bore me with its low-quality animation and almost non-existing plot. I’m only continuing on as I hate to drop any series I started to blog and on the *small* hope something mind-boggling good will happen.
