Maharu makes an unexpected visit to Earth, leaving behind the Maharu Brand of Justice and Flirtation(TM) in her wake. Let’s just say it wasn’t a good day for Tomoka, Koyomi, and some of the folks at the school festival k?

Unusual animation left a weird taste in my mouth while watching Ultimate Girls 10. During an Christmas costumes party, Silk makes some headway with Makoto only to discovery his terrible secret that’ll ruin their chances for happiness. Later on, Silk depressed over Makoto gets cheered up by Vivi and Tsubomi by going to the Comic Market! The monster-of-the-week bring about the usual fanfare but somehow gives Silk the courage to say the one thing she’s been dying to tell Makoto that’ll forever change everyones’ worlds as they know it!
Deciding to catch up on my Ultimate Girls backlog, I sat down and watched episod 9-11 in one sitting. After watching, I still can’t decide if that was a good or bad idea…
… anyway, the girls are still on their class fieldtrip and head to Kobe for some fun and touring. Vivi gives Silk a chance to spend some quality time with Makoto at the local amusement park that almost turns sour when the monster-of-the-week appears. Thanks to Ultimate Girl Vivi, Silk’s “date” with Makoto goes well and she learns that he actually likes her… or more specifically her alternate personality
Thanks to the god that is Maestro for uploading the Mai-HiME seiyuu cast readings and interview for me! I must say, it was a very enlightening experience to match seiyuu to HiME character and hear how different their voices are.
