Viewtiful Joe 06

I don’t know what possessed me to blog Viewtiful Joe, so I have no choice but to continue doing so. Basically, Joe gets the Six Machine while we learn the true meaning of being an hero.

Let’s make this quick and simple okay? I’m not even going to bother with a synopsis but just get straight to the point of the episode’s “suppose meaning.”

Thanks to Grandpa Captian Blue Fan, we learn the true meaning of being an hero exemplify through Viewtiful Joe and to a lesser degree, Captain Blue Jr. That burning passion and guts to continue forward is what makes a person a true hero under the Viewtiful Joe universe. It is through this quality that any hero will be able to survive the odds, even if thinks look really bad for him. Take Joe for example, just when he thought he was able to die protecting Junior as they crashed towards the ground, a miracle happened and the Six Machine came to his rescue. The machine felt the passion of Joe as an hero, and came to his help ala it would to Captain Blue. If Joe wasn’t a true hero, the Six Machine would have remained “dead” forever; thus proving Joe is a true hero. It’s also interesting to note that Junior represents the middle phase of becoming a hero; someone with the right passion and whatnot, but still too naive on certain things. Junior inability to notice the Six Machine for what it really was (since it looked like crap) shows he’s still too young, yet at the same time, his drive to be as good and better than Joe & Captain Blue will no doubt make Junior into one fine hero (no matter how much I find him annoying).

BTW… Grandpa Captain Blue Fan was hilarious. Especially when he found “true” heroes ;)
