Koyomi fans rejoice! GIRLS Bravo 2nd Season episode 10 presented the “tragic” tale of one girl looking for her lost father with her group of “friends” whom try to help. Keyword: try.

Matthew’s Anime Blog is always the place to go for actual reviews on series I’m blogging that he is too. Being the great man he is, and me being the great lazy bum I am, I’ll being op-ing out of doing a synopsis as usual.

In that avenue, some of my favorite scenes this episode had to be:

• Miharu’s 3 dots and the “what ifs” involved with them. Out-Of-Character Miharu was a laugh riot and watching Yukinari getting beaten various ways by her was funny as heck.
• Fruits & Veggies Store Owner. I cracked as he gave props to bananas (all thanks to Miharu of course)
• Koyomi’s backstory of her family (i.e. her father) was pretty moving, considering it’s GIRLS Bravo. Loved how everyone tried to her help out!
• Chibi Koyomi very cute… Koyomi’s mother.. MILF-tastic!
• Kosame… LMAO.
• I can’t believe no guy stopped to help the girls?! That’s just wrong on so many levels!
• Fukuyami and Tomoka deserved the award for Best Unique Helpers(TM). Their hearts were in the right place but the execution… not so much so ^_^;;
• I think I’ll have to agree with Koyomi’s newly formed Fan Club: Where can I get one of those life-sized versions of Koyomi?!?!
• I had a feeling Hijiri was behind this… thought it was her with Koyomi’s father when Koyomi saw them on the TV.
• Thinking about it, wondered why Fukuyamai and/or Risa couldn’t use their vast network to just track down the guy? I mean, all they need is a photo right? Odd they were able to find everything else about Koyomi except that. I guess if they did, this wouldn’t have been much of an episode huh?

GIRLS Bravo 2nd Season continues to prove how much better, IMHO, it is to the first season. Currently every episode so far has been a treat to watch, even if the majority of them were fanservice-ish and comedical. I really liked how the staff and crew made Fukuyama an actual decent guy (at times) and in one form or another, has been the focal point to all the cast crazy antics.

Now with Hijiri (and cloaked girl) getting more air time odds are the staff will be moving forward to the “serious” plot of the series. Should be fun to watch as we find out what the two girls’ intentions are… Obviously they’re from Miharu’s and girls’ home world but why are they on Earth? Hmm.. maybe Yukinari will be getting another girl to the “harem” perhaps? LMAO
