The higher deities decide to make Junpei their whipping boy by giving him both heaven and hell this episode of Ichigo 100% as one way or another, all the girls come to his place to chill. And as if that’s not enough excitement for Junpei, in the second half, the Film Club (including Kurokawa-sensei) go to the beach to film their first movie. Much to say, there’s a lot skin and fun in the sun! Also Satsuki’s and Junpei’s relationship moves one step forward and three steps back… sort of.

I could take the addition of Kurokawa to the group’s trip but could not understand why the staff decided to include Yui when everyone dropped by Junpei’s home. Plus I’m disappointed that they left out Sotomura’s Q&A of the girls where Junpei really sweat bullets over the type of guy the girls like. Animation as usual too added to my disappointment, yet for so reason I still enjoyed Ichigo 100% episode 5. I guess I should thank the magic that is the series and the hardwork of the seiyuu cast for picking up where the animation fails.

BTW, Junpei really needs a better hiding spot for his porn mags!

Continuing exactly where last episode left off, Junpei and Tsukasa are at a nearby park catching up on old times. Surprisingly, Tsukasa has taken up cooking classes as she’s enjoying making food especially when one is trying their best to prepare food with certain individuals in mind. Tsukasa’s new hobby makes Junpei realize it’s exactly how he feels about making movies… she continues to describe the fun of cooking and even can Junpei understands what she means. Tsukasa mentions if that’s so, then next time can Junpei try out her cooking… which Junpei didn’t hear as it’s apparent she’s trying hard to improve while he himself hasn’t really done much about film making. Having a little “moment” together even though Junpei doesn’t realize it, he thanks Tsukasa for giving him the drive to go forward in his path and do his best. Junpei jets off soon after, burning with newfound energy as Tsukasa is left thinking over what has just happen between the two (i.e. their little “moment”).

Back at home, Junpei is fooling around with his camera while self-convincing himself of his re-new passion for film making. The following day he finds Aya walking to school, firstly apologizing for the other day saying it was his fault for making Aya upset. Aya shyly blushes as it seems she’s about to say something more when Junpei declares he really wants to make movies, it being the reason he wanted to go to Izumizaka, and hopes Aya will still help him out. Slightly moved from Junpei’s passion, Aya agrees to help Junpei out saying it should somehow be okay even though she’s in the Liberal Arts club too. Thanking Aya, Junpei is overjoyed as he hopes the two of them will be able to make some interesting movies together.

Kurokawa-sensei has gathered the film club members together, saying this summer break they should have some training camp or something to make a movie. Since it’s summer break, there’s no way they should waste the opportunity… Kurokawa pushes Aya and Satsuki together (why the random breast shot is beyond me) as she tries to convince Junpei on the idea. Komiyama and Sotomura are more than willing to go with various suggestions, as Kurokawa poses thinking about going to the beach to film. Something about “3 beautiful girls doki doki film club trip” with her, Aya, and Satsuki in two-piece bikinis and Komiyama & Sotomura with “big breasts are the best!” After the meeting, Aya and Junpei are walking home as the two try to figure out what kind of movie they should make. Junpei suggests Aya should come over to his place so they can get ideas from movies he has. Aya blushes as Junpei realizes maybe the idea was all too sudden, but Aya definitely wants to go… so she’ll drop by tomorrow afternoon.

Next day, a very cute (and sweating) Aya arrives at the Manaka Mansion as Junpei’s mother welcomes her arrival in typical “omg, my son knows a cute girl” type of way Junpei quickly tries to dismiss his mother before she embarrasses him too much, but she leaves with a kicker saying she’ll be out for awhile… so the two should enjoy their youthful time together! Aya is looking around Junpei’s room, taking everything in, finally seeing how Junpei’s life is outside of school and whatnot. Junpei goes to pick some videos the two can get ideas from as Aya busts out of her shirt, saying maybe because of the weather or the idea of going to Junpei’s house she has been sweating a bit. Trying to be the gentleman without staring too much at Aya, Junpei waves it off and apologizes for his room not having A/C. The two start to watch “Kohmon” (don’t ask), as Junpei stares intently at Aya while she’s too-involved with watching the movie. Very cute Aya scenes here as Junpei leans in too drawn into Aya’s cute behaviors when the phone suddenly rings.. surprising both Aya and Junpei, with Aya accidently getting Junpei wet from the drink in her hand. Satsuki’s the one calling asking what’s Junpei up to and if he already has ideas for the movie, as everyone else already have chosen some spots to film. Unfortunately Satsuki can hear everything in the background, including a surprised Aya. She tries to get Junpei to explain why Aya is there but he gives a quick lame response hanging up soon after. Satsuki isn’t happy… as for the cause of Aya’s surprise yelp, while she was cleaning up the spill she actually found and got Junpei’s precious magazines (aka porn mags) wet. Awesome scene as she shows them to Junpei. Junpei quickly tries to deny those are his, saying it must have been Komiyama who left them there.

Ookusa is walking around the neighborhood when he notices Tsukasa nearby. Greeting her, he ask what’s up. Tsukasa is actually looking for Junpei’s house since she made some cookies and wanted him to try some. Ookusa offers to lead the way…

Aya and Junpei have just finished one of the movies as the two discuss the positives and negatives of it. Doorbell rings as we hear Kurokawa-sensei complain about answering the door quickly. Apparently the front door is unlock as Satsuki, Kurokawa, Komiyama, and Sotomura invite themselves in. So today the film club’s meeting will be at Junpei’s house instead… also seem like Kurokawa is a tad drunk as Sotomura informs us of her recently getting dumped again. Komiyama points out Aya’s sexy appearance as Satsuki laments she should have wore something different too. Kurokawa goes for some “hands on” teaching with Satsuki and Aya as she complains how can teenage girls their age have such big breasts! Junpei (un)fortunately gets stuck in the middle of things (literally) and it soon becomes a tangle mess of arms, legs, and breasts much to his charging. Ookusa and Tsukasa enter the scene with the front door *still* open, calling out Junpei to see if he’s around. Junpei, Kurokawa, Aya, and Satsuki all fall down in a massive pile as Junpei is surprised to see the two (more so Tsukasa). Tsukasa explains she came by so he could try out some of her cookies as Satsuki demands to know how Junpei knows Tsukasa. Adding more fuel to the fire, Yui drops by saying she’ll be staying for a bit and has found Junpei’s porn magazine laying outside Yui continues to put Junpei in bigger trouble as she pinpoints his hiding spot from the last time she was over. Tsukasa is surprise over Yui’s announcement while Satsuki wants to know what’s his exact relationship to Yui. Kurokawa joins in the fun as she’ll never allow Junpei to put his hands on Yui… or something. Aya, Satsuki, Yui, Tsukasa, and Kurokawa all want explanations as Junpei gives up trying to figure stuff out, complaining about the original goal of planning to make a movie being ruined.

The Film Club arrives at ocean! It’s pretty much empty around the area as Satsuki tries to jab something out of Junpei, but he’s too in Directors’ Mood to say much. There’s some more random chitchat between Junpei, Satsuki, and Kurokawa which I didn’t follow but doubt is really important. They arrive at the hostel/inn/whatever they’ll be staying at as the guys notice all of its crappiness. That’s beside the point though, as it’s time for them to go to the ocean! Satsuki has brought tons of swimsuits to wear, hoping to appeal to Junpei’s attention while we learn Aya didn’t bring one and Kurokawa has some interesting choices… thankfully Aya can just borrow one from Satsuki and not the teacher ^_^;; The guys listen in on the girls’ conversation, only imagining what “good stuff” could be going on between the walls… almost also getting them caught as the girls let the guys in as the guys fall down caught in the act. All three girls are wearing two-piece bikinis though Kurokawa takes the cake wearing the least out of the three; much to the guys’ enjoyment. Satsuki is a little put off that even Junpei is easily charmed by the teacher’s adult body.

The club is filming their first movie, which basically involves Satsuki running around in a bikini giggling a cutish girl laugh etc etc. A few scenes are taken before everyone decides to just have some fun in the sun via beach volleyball (Kurokawa… what the.. ojou-sama?).

Filming is over for the day as Kurokawa, Satsuki, and Aya are in the hostel’s bathing area as Satsuki ask Aya about her relationship to Junpei. Satsuki quickly drops the subject realizing maybe she’s just seeing things… and instead tries to get Aya to come closer to the other two. Kurokawa ain’t happy as she yells at Satsuki, saying it should be peaceful and quiet instead. The guys are in their room as Komiyama ask Junpei which girl, Aya or Satsuki, is more his type. Junpei tries to get out of the question as Komiyama goes on saying Satsuki is definitely better. Sotomura dashes his hopes away as he mentions it’s pointless considering the two girls only have eyes for Junpei for some odd reason. Komiyama agrees and adds Tsukasa to the lot, then trying to figure out what Junpei has that has attracted the girls to him… Jealous Men Divine Justice kicks in as Komiyama and Sotomura in their jealousy toss Junpei into the girls’ bathing area. The girls are surprised to say the least as Satsuki covers up Junpei’s eyes before he sees too much; too late however as he’s getting more than his feel of Satsuki’s chest! Outside, Sotomura and Komiyama are congratulating themselves on a job well done.

Later that night, a somewhat bruised and beaten Junpei complains of what has happened before. He suddenly hears noises, afraid it might be a ghost or something since no one else should be up that late. Surprise surprise, it’s actually Satsuki as she too is having trouble sleeping. Junpei eyes instantly goes to her breasts as he recalls the feel as he vainly tries NOT to think about it. Satsuki then ask if the two can talk somewhere in private…

The two end up in a storage closet of sorts as Junpei’s heart is beating an mile a minute trying to figure out Satsuki’s true reasons for wanting to talk. Satsuki mentions she can hear the ocean’s wave which he replies it’s because they’re close to the sea. Satsuki then goes to ask if Junpei did see her naked body from before, which Junpei denies since she covered his eyes before he saw anything good. She actually seems a little disappointed as Satsuki laments maybe she’s thinking about it too much, but at the time her own body was on fire… so that means… Satsuki goes for the kill as she throws herself on Junpei saying that he must know right, that she really likes him. The situation is quickly getting out of Junpei’s control as he pushes her off of him, only to put her in a more sexy pose than before! She does ask where/why is he looking at her so intently, which Junpei quickly apologizes for… Satsuki admits wanting to do more with Junpei, being together kissing etc etc much to Junpei’s shock. She continues saying she can’t believe Junpei has made a girl say so much out in the open since it’s embarrassing. Junpei internally laments that he can’t believe Satsuki’s actually serious about him.. and right now she’s waiting for him to kiss her… so… Satsuki ask if Junpei really doesn’t hate her or anything, which Junpei can’t believe she’d think. Satsuki doesn’t believe Junpei at all but he tells her how he has the most fun with her around and that probably something-something I didn’t quite get. Junpei also ask for more time for him to seriously give back a reply to Satsuki’s confession… at this point she’s blushing and thanks him (for whatever reason). She’ll be back to her normal cheerful self tomorrow, so he can forget about how she was tonight… Junpei is moved and goes to hug her from behind, it being the best he can do at the moment. Relief fills Satsuki as she faints… Junpei goes to touch her head and it becomes obvious she’s actually sick!

Next morning Satsuki wakes up with Aya and the Old Lady of the hostel (owner) over her bedside. Aya informs Satsuki of her high fever and how Junpei found her last night. Kurokawa figures it’s probably because she was so active yesterday in just a bikini so… Aya tells Satsuki to just take it easy for the day. Satsuki turns over and finds Junpei right next to her, asleep as Aya tells her how Junpei has been at her side the whole night and only now has fallen asleep. Satsuki goes to ask Aya again about the two’s relationship but quickly drops it as she realizes her own relationship with Junpei has improved, so she’s happy. Komiyama and Sotomura come in worried about Satsuki as Aya and Kurokawa ward the two off saying Satsuki needs her rest. Satsuki continues to look at the sleeping Junpei silently thanking him as she grabs his nearby hand, going back to sleep herself.

Pretty good epsiode overall with only the animation (as usual) being my biggest issue. I already mentioned my other problems in the quick summary in the beginning so I don’t have much to add. I will say, however, my favorite parts had to be Aya finding Junpei’s porn mags, “actress” Satsuki (okay, she just looked and acted really cute in a bathing suit!), and recovering Satsuki (the hair and her constant blush I guess?). Most definitely some good scenes for Satsuki fans out there

Next episode preview, and based on my memories of the manga, involve Tsukasa and her birthday. Should be fun to watch!
