Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan 03-04

Continuing on with the chaos, the second episode of Dokuro-chan bring about high school love and the trials of going on an date. Of course such situations are difficult for the average teenager in an normal setting but add in an angel that gives you more trouble than all annoying little siblings combined, and you just know trouble is abound.

Dokuro is drinking water from the tap as Sakura finds her. Sakura makes some comment about Dokuro or something with Dokuro replying in the usual mis-understood way (something about remembering her lips that actually never happened.. dunno). She goes on to mention how she wanted to drink the same water from the same tap as Sakura (I think) with Sakura explaining she was drinking wrong. Sakura goes to show Dokuro the correct way to drink from the tap, earning him a bloody cut on his face from Dokuro. More mishaps lead to Dokuro getting wet and Sakura somehow taking a death beating for it.
Shizuki finds Sakura asking to speak to him for a moment. A sort of lovely-dovey scene where Sakura thinks maybe Shizuki is going to confess to him, only to be disappointed that she’s asking about Miyamoto and whether he has anyone he likes. Sakura answers there’s no one but a lot rumors think maybe him and Numata-senpai (manager of the school’s baseball team Miyamoto is on) might get together. Shizuki is relieved while Sakura’s world is crushed, thinking Shizuki likes Miyamoto… Sakura goes to hang himself but Shizuki fixes his mis-understanding as she never said that she likes Miyamoto…
Sakura finds out Shizuki has actually been asked by one of their classmates Chieri to find out about Miyamoto. Sakura and Shizuki decide to play matchmakers and get a group study session going on in the library with Miyamoto and Chieri. Shizuki does a cupid proud by asking Chieri for help on a question, which Miyamoto also needs help with
Looks like things are going smoothly until Dokuro comes in… wanting to “study” with the group.. and asking for help about certain words in a book she’s reading… which I’m almost positive is sex in nature. Much to say Sakura curses his luck and one glance from Shizuki tells him they better do something quick or Chieri’s chance to get along with Miyamoto are going to be ruined. They excuse themselves to go to the bathroom with Sakura carrying off Dokuro too.
Sakura tries to explain to Dokuro about ruining the moment between the two, which Dokuro mis-interrupts thinking he meant between her and him (she tries to help get back in the moment by hugging Sakura). Sakura corrects Dokuro by showing that it’s Miyamoto and Chieri they’re trying to get together, much to Dokuro’s surprise and embarrassment. Now that Dokuro understands will she leave them alone…? Nope! Dokuro must help since she’s an angel… an cupid! Sakura tries to stops her knowing nothing good can come of Dokuro’s “help”… another small talk lead nowhere other than Sakura’s embarrassment about taking baths with his mom until way back the normal age. Dokuro goes back to “helping” as Sakura tries to stop her again but somehow ends up dis-robing her. Typical Dokuro embarrassment + Escaliborg = chaos and certain death for Sakura. Luckily, he manages to dodge the strike only to have a bookcase launch directly towards Miyamoto and Chieri instead!
Aftermath has the students left in the library checking the destruction with Sakura blaming Dokuro for it all, and of Dokuro denying it was all her fault but instead his. As for Chieri and Miyamoto, Chieri is fine thanks to Miyamoto protecting her but unfortunately he has injuried his right shoulder in the process. Sakura is about to check up on him when Numata-senpai comes rushing through (knocking Sakura out of the way) to help Miyamoto. Numata pretty much gets protective of Miyamoto since he’s one of the stars of the baseball team (and probably other personal reasons) as she’ll handle taking care of Miyamoto making sure he gets to the nurse’s office. Chieri just stands there watching for a bit before she gets the courage to voice her feelings… it’s her fault that Miyamoto got injuried so she should be the one to take him to the nurse’s office. Numata doesn’t think much of what Chieri said and tells Miyamoto to go but he basically decides to go with Chieri instead, letting Numata down. Dokuro, Sakura, and Shizuki just watch on as their plans are successful, somehow…
In the hallway Chieri apologizes to Miyamoto for the injuried shoulder but he reassures her it’s not that bad and looks worse than it actually is. Miyamoto then gets all sly and says he enjoyed studying with Chieri and wouldn’t mind doing it again
Shizuki and Sakura are at the school entrance getting ready to leave as Sakura comments surprisingly even with Dokuro’s “help,” everything worked out well in the end. I think there’s more small idle chit-chat before Shizuki shows Sakura some movie tickets her mother gave her; they should go to the movies once their exams are over with. Sakura is now on cloud nine…
Second half of the episode, Sakura wakes up a little late for his date with Shizuki only to find Dokuro sleeping right next to him! He tries to wake up Dokuro asking why she’s there but she’s more or less dead asleep. She moves around a bit showing a nice bit of underaged chest goodness… Sakura is at a lost until Dokuro goes to hug him in her mostly sleep state, much to Sakura’s surprise. The feeling of soft female flesh is taking the toll on Sakura as an internal battle of the mights eventually lead to his male instincts winning
Sakura gives in to the moment but Dokuro ruins it by hugging him tighter until she litterally hugs him in half! This wakes Dokuro up as she goes to heal him (again) but falls back asleep half-way through. Sakura is back in one body… but it’s the body of Perry instead! Eventually Dokuro heals Sakura back to normal. One situation out of the way and another already brings itself up as Dokuro’s boss Zansu comes out through one of Dokuro’s communication devices freaking Sakura out. Some mild humor between Sakura and Zansu lead to Sakura locking Zansu away… for now. On to his date with Shizuki!
Sakura hauls arse to get to the place where he’s meeting up with Shizuki. Shizuki isn’t in sight until someone comes up from behind Sakura covering his eyes asking to “guess who.” He instantly knows it’s Shizuki as she lightly jabs on him for being late. Sakura apologizes while Shizuki says it’s okay, since she really just did get there herself moments ago. Off the two are to the movies when someone else covers Sakura’s eyes asking who it is… which he also easily figures out as the person, Dokuro, is literally covering his eyes until they bleed! She won’t let go until he figures out who it is, and with much screaming pain says it’s Dokuro. She lets go much to Sakura’s relief as he asks what the heck she’s doing there. Something about remembering Sakura’s smell or some other nonsense that never happen and Sakura wants Dokuro to leave… but she wants Sakura to play… suddenly Dokuro isn’t feeling well and she goes down for the count… only to fall back asleep! Sakura tries to force Dokuro awake but no good, telling Shizuki they should just go and leave Dokuro there. Shizuki asks if it’s really okay since they are weird people around the area. Sakura gives in but doesn’t know what they should with Dokuro. Shizuki suggests they might as well just drag Dokuro with them to the movies, much to both their disappointment.
I’m not sure what the movie about, but the main character is hilarious with some stomach problem or another… Sakura tries to get in the mood with Shizuki and things are looking on the up and up when someone’s annoying cell phone goes off. It takes little time to figure out it’s Dokuro’s cell phone! Sakura finds it, an weird cyclinder type, and answers the call; it’s Zansu. Sakura hangs up immediately, only for the “phone” to go off again and repeats the process of answering and hanging up for a bit as Zansu tries to mention something important before the “phone” gets destroyed. Sabato comes in soon after as it was probably her who did it… she sees Sakura and instantly goes on the yelling blaming him for all her recent problems. Sakura initially acts normal thinking she’s there to watch the movie and quiets her as she’s getting too loud. We learn of Sabato’s current situation… sleeping under the bridge in some poor pitiful “house”… washing her only panties… only for it to get stolen by a bird. Tears in her eyes (among other things), Sabato wants payback so Sakura must die! Sakura only hope is Dokuro and goes to wake up her but the will of the gods has other plans as he grabs her left breast instead. He knows he’s a dead man as Dokuro slowly wakes up and realizes what has just happened to her person. One Escaliborg beating coming as Sakura even tries to use Sabato as a meatshield as the attack hits… the two get blown back all the way to the wall of the theatre worse for wear. Sakura pleads for his life but a super-saiyan Dokuro isn’t listen ^_^;; He runs up to the front of the theatre yelling out to the fate (well, Dokuro) that he just wanted a date with Shizuki as he’s about to die… Shizuki is leaving the theatre not looking happy as Dokuro heals Sakura again.
Later that night, Sakura is recovering and miserable over his ruined date with Shizuki. Dokuro tries to cheer him up by reading the novel “Slave Dog of Franders.” I’m not sure what exactly was said but much to Sakura’s charging, doesn’t help him feel better at all (though I did get a kick out of Dokuro’s liberal reading of the story). Switch to Shizuki in the tube thinking over the “date” and ending the episode with a “baka” with splashing water on a SD “drawing” of what we can assume to be Sakura.
A lot slower compared to the first episode but still very enjoyable nonetheless. The guest characters and seiyuus were a nice treat. Hitomi Nabatame as Numata, Mamiko Noto as Chieri, and Mitsuo Iwata as the main protagonist in the movie had me laughing. Also kind of funny and a bit random, that if you think about it, four of the five seiyuus of the upcoming Ichigo Mashimaro anime were in this episode of Dokuro-chan. Go fig. Another part I enjoyed was Dokuro’s sex positions pillow… I was like “WTF?! LMAO” Just awesome in so many ways… and how could one forget Saeko Chiba’s “screams” when reading the book… XD
Next episode will be out sometime in July and I may actually pick it up myself since volume three comes with a Dokuro-chan figure!
