Gundam SEED Destiny 30

The battle damages each side took, Archangel finally getting new crew members, Kira becoming the new spiritual leader, and more followed this episode of Gundam SEED Destiny. Shinn finally having enough of his girlfriend getting treated like a lab rat goes AWOL giving her back to Neo, naively expecting for her to be free had me laughing. Just because Shinn thinks he’s suddenly a hotshot pilot doesn’t mean the world revolves around him, which he’ll fortunately find out soon enough. If not for Durandal and Ray protecting his sorry behind I have a feeling Shinn’s ego would have been knocked down a peg or two a very long time ago. The ignorant fool!
So who else beside Zyl and myself were cheering when Lunamaria was in bandages yet made her look even hotter huh?! Or how about Meyrin’s adorable expressions when Lunamaria was jabbing on her? And if the two Hawke sisters weren’t doing it for you, Gladis’ shower scene must have been the crowd pleaser right?

Cagalli’s Wild Seven
Pretty touching moment between Cagalli and the ORB soldiers that decided to join the Archangel. I liked how Cagalli took responsibility for her past actions knowing she has made mistakes but is more than willingly to amend for them. When she cried over the ORB soldiers dedication to the true ORB ideals, the mistakes of the past, and what to hope for in the future had me totally moved. If there was anything wrong with this scene it had to be Kira’s somewhat sudden leadership and speech-making skills. I know he’s suppose to be the Ultimate Coordinator but man, it really seems like he can do anything when the need arises! Maybe Cagalli can learn a thing or two from Kira in the speech department when they head back to ORB… or maybe Lacus has been drilling Kira with some political skills on their off-time.
Bandage Fetish
Lunamaria + Bandages = HOT. That is all.
The Great Stellar Escape
The majority of the episode dealt with Stellar deteriorating health which led to Shinn to break her out of “prison” and return her back to Neo for treatment. I really don’t know what to say about how “easily” Shinn was able to get away in Impulse with Stellar without too much trouble. One would think the Minerva would be a bit better and more staffed other than the five or so soldiers Shinn and Ray took out. Also surprising how long it took before the command center even found out! I mean, shouldn’t have the doctor, nurses, and soldiers sound off an alarm ASAP once they noticed everything that was going wrong?
Continuing on with the great logic that is Gundam SEED Destiny, as I mentioned before, Shinn thinking Neo was really going to keep Stellar away from the battles was laughable! In the humane point of view, Shinn’s hopes made sense but obviously Stellar is an important and useful individual in the fights against ZAFT. Who in their right mind would stop one of their “best” pilots from piloting? Just because of some promise to an enemy that rescued him/her/them? Yeah right. *grumbles about individuals letting their emotions get the better of them*
This episode of GSD was only good for three reasons and three reasons alone:
1. Lunamaria in bandages.
2. Finding out the Captain and Ray have a “special” relationship.
3. Shinn giving back Stellar will obviously come back to bite him in the ass.

Hot damn! Lunamaria x Stellar yuri action! Another marvellous headline graphic, Moyism! Though it would have been more canonical if Lunamaria’s panties were black. =)
> Lunamaria + Bandages = HOT. That is all.
Indeed. ^_^
