Alyssa’s memories, Q&A with Nagi and Natsuki, and Midori’s will to live.

Capped straight from the DVD source, the three omakes on the sixth volume of Mai-HiME present the usual fanfare. They weren’t bad overall as each presented some inside workings of the cast.

Alyssa’s omake dealt with her talking with Miyu about the past. Alyssa remembering her warm father’s hug and wanting to do anything for him. Of Miyu always watching and taking care of Alyssa. And of the snowman they made in the past probably is gone but they can make snowmen anytime.

Second omake had an Q&A with Natsuki asking Nagi just exaclty what are the Orphans. Pretty funny scene with all the SD-ness going around plus Nagi’s unique explanation of the Orphans and Childs. I got a kick out of how Childs come about, especially with Duran being a panties thief or something. Also cracked how they had Natsuki eating Ramen with mayo… however strange that is!

Final omake had a very naked Midori talking about her being a teacher and how there’s no such thing as fate, its the individual that decides how they’ll live life. Of course Midori never thought she’ll be teaching as she never liked teachers herself, but it seems fun and the kids enjoy her stuff. Some talk about coursing one’s own future and how she’ll do what she’ll want and/or have to do.
