I off-handily suggest a humorous idea for Gundam SEED and it snowballs within an day. The blog got a good 4500+ hits yesterday, which is anywhere of the range of 1000-2000 more hits than the norm. The power of the internet huh?
I don’t know whether to shake my fists in jealousy or bow down to his playa abilities, but Athrun Zala wins the award for upcoming male harem lead with four girls viling for his undivided attention.
I’ve already mentioned this but I’m seriously waiting for a spin-off that will be an alternative universe with the crew of GS/GSD as normal everyday folks living in the current time and society. Of course, it’ll have to be either a high school or college love harem comedy but the possibilities are endless! Watch as Athrun juggles not only everyday school life but also deal with girls constantly wanting his attention, going on dates (whether his choosing or not), friends of little to no help, and more as comedy (and maybe even love) ensues!
Seriously, who needs a third season of Gundam SEED with illogical storylines, re-used & copied Gundam designs, and 80% flashbacks when instead one could have great harem comedy in the making! Sure the sales of Gundam models would go down but I’m positive sales in the figures department would sky-rocket. If you’re out there somewhere Gundam God, please please grant my request for a Athrun Zala love comedy spin-off!
