Comic Party Revolution spoofs Prince of Tennis and does a mighty fine job if I do say so myself.

Is a tennis tournament between friends really just friendly or are individuals’ ideals, hopes, and dreams riding on the line? What are a person’s limits in fighting for what they believe in against all the odds? What would a person do to accomplish victory? And most importantly, what happens when the main heroine and “sub”/hidden heroine wishes they were in each other’s shoes instead?

Yuu centric episode as Kazuki and co head to Yuu’s family hot spring resort for the local Kansai Comic Party.

Naked girls covered by censor steam, other various fanservice, plenty of Yuu screen time, and a question popped to Kazuki by Yuu that may change his fate all lead up to a funny if not predictable Comic Party style ending. If you’re a Yuu fan, odds are you’ll enjoy this episode however since I’m not a big fan it was somewhat dull for me. But don’t let me ruin the episode for you, as there are plenty of other scenes to help satisfy non-Yuu fans like a mad Ikumi that’s too cute for words!

Chisa’s printing business is in a big pinch! Her father has collapsed from exhaustion and she’s the only one that can run the place, especially with the next Comic Party so close. And just when Kazuki thinks he could round up the troops to help out Chisa, seems like everyone is too busy getting ready for the convention. Even Kazuki himself has to finish his manuscript…

… a light of shining hope comes at the last minute as Subaru offers to help! Will the unlikely combination of Chisa and Subaru be enough to keep Chisa’s printing shop open or will it be the final end of the Tsukamoto Printing Store?

It’s a cosplay showdown! Will Mizuki or Reiko win with Kazuki’s fate as an manga artist on the line?! And wait.. who’s that Konomi cosplayer!?

Comic Party Revolution starts off in high gear as we’re treated to more of the great wackiness that make up the series’ quirky cast of characters. The anime is definitely heavy on the comedy so sit back and relax as Mizuki’s hatred of otakus is tested to the limits, Taishi’s long lost “sister” is found, girls in cosplay, Taishi’s love for To Heart 2, and Kazuki’s hidden talents are revealed.

NOTE: DO NOT click to check out my full entry unless you want to be totally spoiled. I advise either waiting for the episode to be subbed or watch the raw before reading my review and seeing my screencaps. Otherwise, it’ll ruin all the fun of the ending.
