Haruka makes a grand entrance not only saving the day and Arika’s stripping career, but ensures Arika has a place to stay after bribing Mashiro with promises of a life time supply of free chocolate. Some Haruka gropping Arika and Mashiro being jealous scenes later, lead to Arika officially being an Otome on the rule she can never do the diddy, unless she wants to lose her powers. Also something about if either she or her master get into too much S&M play, both will feel the other’s pain. Not like that’s that important anyways.

Arika soon gets introduced to the rest of the class only to unfortunately find out she’ll have to become a cabaret girl to pay for schooling. Depressed over not being able to get any male action and having to maybe start a new career, Arika gets n00bed by Mikoto after the cat steals her food! Luckily Tomoe comes in to give Arika some tender lovin’ care before being called to help her onee-sama in the baths.

A lot of female flesh and flashing later, Nina is alone pondering how she can get into Sergay’s pants when along comes Nao. Nao in the most tacky outfit found in the series yet, the student’s uniform being #2 btw, offers some pointers to Nina while also hinting Arika might get bullied soon. The person in question is recharging her batteries as the nano-machines do their magic whilst she ponders her start as an Otome. Behind the scenes, someone steals Arika’s outift as an outcry of having a uniform fetish.

Good episode but needed more Haruka and nikked females in my opinion.

Nagi is one smooth talker as he tricks Mashiro into thinking he’ll lose one of his potential cabaret girls if Nina and Arika fight; guaranteeing the battle between the two girls will be on. Arika gets some illegal steroids to give her the edge while Nina releases pent-up energy by going a few rounds with her father.

Meanwhile, Mashiro gets ready to be the master of ceremonies by wearing a dress all lolicons go wild for. The day of the girls’ battle and Mashiro’s induction into the Hall of Snotty Brats, other ex-Mai-HiME members make their appearance, not wanting to lose to the younger cast’s popularity. Mashiro becomes the newest Snotty Brat without problem, where afterwards everyone parties with the mustache crowd like it was sale for 19.99!

Following the massive keg party, Nina’s and Arika’s battle starts after some light teasing by Natsuki and Shizuru; the later leaving to go toe-to-toe Gundam SEED Destiny style with Rey Rado. Nina’s mad l33t Street Fighter skillz give her the edge until Arika starts to show her true god-mode abilities… unfortunately their duel gets interrupted by someone going all terrorist trigger happy on the WindBloom castle.

I swear the castle will be in ruins by the end of the season if this keeps up!

Before anything else, I want to point out it seems no one has mentioned the female-like body in the tank that’s in Youko’s laboratory. At least I’m pretty positive that’s a body but I could be wrong and all it really actually is, is some random tubing. For now, unless proven otherwise, I’ll stick with the human body in an tube tank theory.

Anyway, Arika pledges her soul, mind, and body to the Shizuru fanclub but meets resistance in founding members Natsuki and Sergay. Afraid Arika might be a spy of Mai’s fanclub after spotting the club’s signature pendant, the two fight over who should interrogate the girl. Thanks to idol Shizuru, however, the spy is temporarily accepted until her true motives are proven. Unfortunately rising Shizuru club member #238 Nina gets booted to the side and has to face the consequences of allowing a possible enemy into the club.

The next day Arika continues to try to show her worthiness to the Shizuru fanclub but instead creates pure havoc and chaos. Luckily before anyone can figure out Arika created the havoc on purpose, Nagi (another spy for the Mai fanclub) plays up everyone’s competitive edge by making Arika and Nina battle for permanent placement in the club. The battle? Ballroom dancing followed by a sex-a-thon where Mashiro will decide the winner!

What Gundam SEED should have done with Gundam SEED Destiny if Mai-HiME was GS and Mai-Otome was GSD. Alternative universes are the way to go!

Introduction to the world of Mai-Otome through the eyes of Arika, a very energetic girl looking for the whereabouts of her mother. Arika finds quick companionship with Nina, much to the later’s charging, as the two enter the major city housing Garderobe Academy where clues to Arika’s mother might be. Unfortunately for the two girls, they run into the bratty Mashiro leading to a mini getaway ending with a crazy and wild battle with a Slave monster that over powers the girls. Luckily, they get saved by Shizuru and Akane whom make quick work in defeating the monster, thus ending the first episode of Mai-Otome.

Let the wild, crazy, and lesbian-filled adventures begin!
