Enjoyable episode thanks to the antics of Silk and UFO-Man.

Silk is quietly packing trying not to wake the sleeping UFO-Man as she gets ready for her class’ field trip. A bit later on, Silk, Vivi, and Tsubomi are riding on the bus withe their class heading off to where-ever their trip is with Tsubomi doing some karaoking to liven things up (some UFO-Man song). Silk is slightly worried that she left UFO-Man alone, sneaking away without telling him; what should happen if an monster appears? Tsubomi and Vivi calm Silk’s fears and basically say they should enjoy their school trip.

Meanwhile Makoto and the News TV crew are heading roughly in the same direction as the girls’ bus (not exactly sure why) when the newest monster appears! Somehow it creates soundwaves that put everyone to sleep (yet they all stop safely while driving before sleeping.. what the..). Silk and the other two eventually wake up hours later thanks to UFO-Man, who has caught up with them somehow; Silk initially apologizing for leaving him behind etc etc etc. UFO-Man has no time for that! The girls have to defeat the monster-of-the-week! So where is the monster? Sleeping nearby comfortably…

… which the girls point out and ask what’s the point of fighting if its sleeping. UFO-Man is shocked and tries to give the whole “have to save the earth” speech even though the girls aren’t really buying it. UFO-Man wants Silk to go into battle but as usual, she doesn’t so UFO-Man starts to lay it thick on how she abandoned him before ;) One transformation later and Ultimate Little Boobies is “quietly” (as quiet as a gaint person can that is) sneaking up to the monster to defeat it before it wakes up. Unfortunately Silk’s attack is pretty girly and only wakes the monster up instead! The monster pretty much has the advantage as its attacks (basically touching and whipping with an conductor’s stick) has Silk at an embarrassing disadvantage; to make matters worse, the monster uses its soundwave attack again to wake everyone up. Oh no! The bus leaves without Silk and the News crew wakes up in time to get the tail end of Silk’s battle! Silk is pretty much on her rope’s end as the attacks are too much for her and the monster is about to finish her off. Meanwhile during the fight, UFO-Man comments how strong this monster is and whatnot… but at the same time it has helped set up Silk’s last attack: MOE-power embarrassed energy beam! The monster is almost defeated and an tired Silk is about to rest, when UFO-Man tells her she must defeat/touch the core.. blah blah blah… Ultimate Little Boobies wins again!

Silk is walking alone with UFO-Man on the highway as she has been left behind. UFO-Man off-handily remarks now she knows how he felt when she did the same to him but what’s this… Makoto to the rescue! He just happened to be passing by and gives an ride to Silk, much to her utter surprise and enjoyment. Silk is enjoying the warm sensation of Makoto’s back when UFO-Man does the same to Silk… feeling up her breast too! Silk reacts and elbows UFO-Man off of her, leaving him to try to catch up to the two.

UFO-Man’s usual antics and Silk’s battle definitely made the whole episode. Surprisingly there wasn’t much fanservice out of the par for Ultimate Girls, yet it was still fun to watch. I think m.o.e. studios needs to have more episodes like these where the characters can actually carry the weight of the show, without the need to rely on fanservice too much. Fanservice can get old and tiresome, believe it or not…

For a beach episode, and considering this was done by m.o.e. studios, it was pretty tame. Enjoyable but nothing fanservice-y compared to some previous episodes.

UFO-Man is chilling back reading to what I can only assume to be the UG Ultimate Girls manga in Silk’s room when Silk gets a call from the girls to go to the beach. She is more than happy to go but a little afraided considering how she left things off with Vivi. UFO-Man, on the other hand, is all gun-ho and can’t wait. Silk’s older sister hears through their cheap walls / doors and advises a plan to see if her sister and her friends are the Ultimate Girls.

UFO-Man is hiding away in one of Silk’s luggage as the girls ride on the train to the beach. Obvious tension between Silk and Vivi as they try to sort out what happened last episode but neither can muster the courage. Tsubomi kills the tension by pointing out they’re at the beach, with the three girls looking out the window ready to enjoy some fun in the sun!

The girls change into their swimsuits (wth m.o.e. you don’t show ‘em doing this?), looking at the vast beautiful ocean in front of them. Vivi and Silk seem about to talk about before when one of them notices Silk’s sister right there! She acts surprise about the girls being there as she mentions she’s there with the crew as their TV station is setting up some type of swimsuit competition nearby. Switch to UFO-Man relaxing in the sun as his perverted nature comes in full force: (I think) he calls the bustline of various girls when a young girl comes up to him going, “volleyball!” thinking he is one. Too bad all UFO-Man can do is complain about her lack of respect for elders as she starts to use him as an volley ball.

The girls are on the stage of the TV station competition event helping out with the finishing touches when Makoto starts looking through his camera for contestants… eventually noticing the girls’ breasts he was looking at are his younger sister and her friends! Makoto catches up with them as he gives them the real reason for the contest: find out who the real Ultimate Girls are. The girls are slightly surprised when Makoto stares at them closely. Vivi would be perfect for the contest! Makoto drags Vivi off as Silk becomes heartbroken all over again…

UFO-Man is actually having the time of his life being an volleyball. All the players are cute looking girls so he doesn’t mind them hitting him ;) That is… until some manly man spikes him sending UFO-Man off to the skies.

Vivi stops Makoto from dragging her, saying she doesn’t want to be part of the contest and goes to find Silk. Silk is still running away from Vivi, not wanting to talk about anything, when she suddnely trips but luckily Vivi catches her. Before anymore words can be said, the newest monster-of-the-week appears! Makoto is off to take photos and try to find out who the Ultimate Girls are, Silk’s sister goes off to find her sister but gets caught up in one of the monster’s attack, and Professor dude has to do double duty as himself and reporter girl. Back to Silk and Vivi, UFO-Man washes up ashore near them so it’s time for action… Silk decides she wants to do it even though Vivi protests.

Ultimate Little Boobies arrives at the scene, noticing Makoto nearby taking photos of the fight. With a sort of “farewell my first love” attitude, Silk goes kamikaze at the monster has she beats him up. I have to say Silk has some of the funniest and greatest fight scenes as watching her attack all “girly” while crying is hilarious! Plus the fact she is actually damaging the monster makes it all the better! Ulitmate Little Boobies defeats the monster no problem… but her identity is about to be found as she transforms back. Thankfully Vivi covers Silk as she knocks Makoto out before he has an chance to take an picture of the transformed-back Silk.

A little later on, the girls are back working on the stage when Silk’s sister finds them. Unfortunately since she got stuck under some stage equipment, she couldn’t see who the Ultimate Girl was.. The girls play off the whole Ultimate Girls thing as tehy ask the sister why she has no top! Apparently the only way for Silk’s sister to get free without totally damaging her swimsuit was to take the top off! Shes leaves running off to find a change of clothes… Now that’s what I’m talking about ;)

Silk and Vivi are alone on the beach as the sun sets. The two finally clear up the mess of the whole Makoto-Vivi thing; Vivi admits she likes someone else already. Silk asking what he’s like, Vivi goes on to describe Silk to an T but Silk being who she is never realizes it’s her Vivi is talking about. Anyway, Silk can’t wait to meet Vivi’s crush one day and episode ends on that somwhat happy note.

Ultimate Girls episode 6 wasn’t bad nor was it great. Just so-so. I thought it was nice they finally cleared up the whole Silk-Makoto-Vivi relationship a little bit, even though Silk still doesn’t get it yet. Keep trying Vivi, Silk will notice eventually! Also, Silk’s battle as Ultimate Girl Little Boobies was just pure gold! I haven’t seen such… different “effective” fighting like that in awhile; it was a great pick-me-up after watching the craziness that was Mai-HiME 20.

Professor dude is trying to figure out who the Ultimate Girls really are but is pretty much stumped. In comes Makoto promising to find the their true identities and some manly bonding between the two happens. Silk’s sister, though, already has a better idea of who the Ultimate Girls are than the guys….

Speaking of the three girls, they’re off to (insert place name I forgot how to spell and too lazy to look up), where Tsubomi got the girls a part-time job working at an cosplay cafe. Awesome scene with Silk in various anime costumes (with an blushing Vivienne watching the whole) that eventually lead the three to be Sailor Moon (Vivienne), Goth Loli Girl (Tsubomi), and Hazuki (Silk). Silk wins over the crowd, Vivienne, and myself with her cute “~nya” as people come in. Tsubomi seems to be slacking off and posing for shots while the other two do the majority of the work. Vivienne goes on break, running into Makoto who came to see how they’re doing; Vivienne accidentally trips but Makoto catches her. Unfortunately Silk comes in at this time and mis-understands everything (Silk thinks Vivienne is mad at her for liking Makoto since Vivienne likes Makoto), running away. Too bad Vivienne has no time to catch up with Silk as the Monster-of-the-Week appears!

UFO-Man in Tuxedo Kamen gear (how ironic ^_~) makes Vivienne transforms and Ultimate Girl Big Boobs is off to battle! The monster is some type of mangka / wrestler rip as it “attacks” Vivienne with suggestions to make her better… eventually leading to glasses and white-cum like substances being “added” to her gear (and making all the males VERY happy!). This is when the monster actually attacks, changing clothes into an wrestler and doing some… unique moves on Vivienne O_O All seems lost as her power is running low and Vivienne is stuck, until Silk comes out from the crowd to cheer her on (”~nya!”)! With renew confidence and power, Vivienne wipes the floor against the monster even after its 3rd transformation.

Everyone is looking for where UG Big Boobs has disappeared too. Silk is off looking for Vivienne with an change of clothes when she runs into Makoto. She ask if he likes UG Big Boobs, to prove whether or not what she saw before was really true. Makoto, not noticing what she’s really asking, says of course he likes UG Big Boobs… and all the Ultimate Girls. Too bad Silk didn’t hear that last part. Vivienne, meanwhile, has been hiding behind some garbage naked as the day she was born when someone finds her… thank god, it’s Silk! Silk gives Vivienne the clothes and is about to say something, but holds back. Everything that just has happened becomes too much for Silk though, and she runs off to god knows where angry, sad, shocked, and depressed leaving Vivienne to figure out what the heck just happened.

And as for the whereabouts of Tsubomi, she has been at the cosplay cafe the WHOLE time talking with the customers, getting her picture taken, and boosting up her ego! She never even noticed the monster attack!

Crappy animation ruined this episode from becoming THE BEST Ultimate Girl episode to date. Silk cosplaying and Vivienne’s battle were the highlights (and the majority) of the episode. All I can say is, Silk as Hazuki >= Hazuki the original from Tsukuyomi! Silk was just way too cute~nya :D

Vivian has an nice yuri crush for Silk. Makoto becomes the only male alive to take photos of girls in underwear and make it out without an scratch. Tsugumi, aka Ultimate Girl Loli, uses her new-found powers not only to pose like in cosplay but defeats the Monster-of-the-Week using her brain. Silk has an older sister who is the News Reporter girl, while also showing her in-ability to make up an decent lie.

Highlight has to be the whole Vivian and Silk love love. Funny that Silk thinks Vivian is mad at her with the “loving looks” Vivian is giving (aka ogling Silk). I have no clue how the crush started, but works for me! Yuri is always good ;)

Another typical m.o.e. episode: Vivian fights monster, we learn about the source of Ultimate Girl(s) energy (M.O.E. or basically their shyness), Vivian semi-defeats monster, Makoto gets into trouble, Silk goes in and defeats the monster while saving Makoto. Silk normal cry of “NO~!!!”. The End.

I’m enjoying Ultimate Girls because of it’s fanservice and “unique” plotline but it doesn’t take an idiot for any male to enjoy it too. The girls are uber cute, the costumes skin-tight, fanservice up the whazoo, and UFO-Man is every man’s perverted hero. It can’t get any better than that! I know the formula will eventually get old (how many different monters CAN they fight) but for now, Ultimate Girls is an fun ride right along side GIRLS Bravo Second Season as it caters to all basic male needs… sorta…. yea…. BOOBS…. XD

BTW, now I know why UFO-Man “bullies” Silk so much since he gets the greatest “power” out of the three from her. Too bad his obvious perverted looks doesn’t help to convince Silk much!
